Roberta's Boujee - SS/20

Known for her experimental luxury womenswear, Roberta Einer appeared in my peripheral at LFW in 2018. An unexpected invite slipped through my post and while I cried that Burberry had rejected me for the fifth time - yes the fifth time while Chalayan seemed to ignore me as well. It was Roberta who came to my rescue and what a great love affair it turned out to be. Just when I though she couldn’t get anymore experimental with her collections, she brought a new boujee element to her Spring/Summer 2020. Minimal silhouettes and prints paired with statement coats, pants or jackets are really what stood out to me. As a cohesive collection, the styling for SS20 is focused on creating a very humble and feminine yet strong and fierce pieces. What classifies the collection as success is the focus on her refined skills and unique creativity - at least for me it does.
