Nensi Dojaka SS/20
While usually I opt for a quick in and out dash motion at most London Fashion Week Presentations, Nensi Dojaka enticed me to stay the whole length and while taking pictures along the way. What I found most interesting about her Spring / Summer 2020 collection is the re-enforcement of the most feminine silhouettes juxtaposed with harsh and rough materials. It’s edgy yet feminine, much like my own style. The fun play on edgy is displayed through the careful draping of organza and tulle in figure-hugging and flattering revealing styles. The pieces showcase a ‘lingerie feel’ to it , really emphasising the contrasting elements. What I liked the most about this collection is the flexibility of the designs, I can envision myself in them, and that, is essentially the most interesting for me - to be able to connect to the designer’s creativity which also works on a practical mark for me. While I had been quite skeptical to attend LFW presentations, Nensi’s bondage style patchwork had me strung for more.
